I think one of the most fundamental ways to be able to understand an interact with an audience at any event is having had experience over time to know what works well and how to really connect with the crowd; whether it be groups of family and friends at at a wedding, a corporate party or a kids show, experience is key.
Value for money is important to all of us. Do your research, most prices will fall within a similar bracket. They’ll be cheaper options out there and more expensive ones too, work out whats important to you … ultimately you get what you pay for.
Most businesses and entertainers will have a Facebook page and a listing of their website on Google. These are both excellent places to find genuine, up to date reviews and recommendations from real customers.

We love Adam!!! His parties for children are so brilliant he fully engages with all the children and his magic tricks are brilliant. - Adam was the entertainer for my daughters 6th Birthday. It was great to be able to hand over the entire party to him & be be able to just relax & enjoy. My daughter is always shy in these situations but Adam took the time before the party started to make her feel comfortable & special, for us, that was like magic in itself because it was the first time that she was up & involved throughout a party! I saw how much all the kids loved the entire 2 hours from start to finish, I also thought it was brilliant that he was around during their tea time too going round the tables keeping them laughing & happy. The adults enjoyed the cards tricks too! I will most certainly be using Adam again in the future.
