Chipping Sodbury Victorian Day 2017 - Huge Success
I was delighted when I was approached by Amy from The Sodbury Florist one of the event organisers, to start the days entertainment off on the stage.
I performed the Adam Allsortz show with Games, Prizes, Party Dances and even a joke competition as well as of course some high energy hilarious magic.
Chipping Sodbury high street is renowned for its stunning beauty, friendly local shops and suppliers - What better place to host their Festive Victorian Day Parade/Festival
A huge shout out to the fantastic work of Rich McD Photography for capturing the event though-out the day. Well worth checking out the whole album and well as his wide range of other work and pics.
I was impressed most by the sense of community that was evident through-out this event. From the turn out and support of the local residents to the effort put in by the stalls and local shops.
Through-out the day there was loads to keep everyone amused and entertained; Punch and Judy (Paul Wheeler - http://www.punchinello.co.uk), a range of shows on the stage including children's entertainment, magic, dances and live music as well as a parade and appearance from the main man himself - Santa Claus.
I'm already in talks with the organisers to get involved with Victorian Day 2018 (possibly performing to a slightly bigger crowd as a warm up to Santa's arrival); looking forward to it!!!!
